I. Structure

Screw-type quick hole packer II is composed of a packer jacket with advancing and locking mechanism, main rod, expansion rubber sleeve, gland, ball valve and drainage end cap.
 

II. Use
Screw-type quick hole packer is used for water injection or gas drainage.

III. Function
1. Release crustal stress and gas in minge in local area of the coal mining wall.
2. Gas pre-drainage from coal seam serves as a protective measure from outburst, increasing workers’ safety.
3. Water injection into coal seam at normal pressure.
4. It solves limitation in drilling operation and effectively prevents gas outburst and explosion.

Packing diameter: 70mm~150mm (As per customer needs)
Packing depth: 0.5m~1.5m
Hose expansion coefficient: 10%~30%.
 

V. Instructions and Precautions
1. Screw-type quick hole packer Ⅱ is easy to use. Users need to connect the site water supply or gas drainage pipeline to the packer and then insert the packer completely into the borehole. Turn the handle on the packer jacket clockwise and lock up the positioning bolt. The rubber hose in the packer expands to realize packing effect, inject water or drain gas.
2. EMPIRE packer is reusable. After gas drainage is finished, users may loosen the positioning bolt, turn the handle anti-clockwise, and then the packer restores its original form and may be removed from the borehole. The rubber sleeves at critical positions are easy to replace and additional sleeves may be used where necessary.
3. After the hole packer is used, users should clean the filtering screen at the suction end, to avoid influences on its next use.
4. Hole packers should be protected from contact with oil or acid/alkali chemicals.
