Polypropylene composite hose

Polypropylene composite hose adopts molded sealing head produced by hydraulic contraction, and provides good sealing performance. For connection between hose body and flange, Empire improves the traditional epoxy resin filling method and produces sealing heads by large hydraulic equipment. In comparison with similar products, our hoses are solid and durable, with pleasing appearance, and avoids uncoupling of connectors by sudden pressure rise. Standard flange may be used on both ends of the hose, and if user has any special requirement on fitting type, we also provide non-standard flanges with threads in metric units or British units as per customer requirements. We also provide quick-fitting connectors of aluminum alloy, stainless steel or copper.

 

I. Features

1. Polypropylene composite hose is reinforced by two wire layers, which provide excellent conductivity and safety.

2. Good resistance to oil and chemical corrosion.

3. Good resistance to positive and negative pressure; maximum working pressure: 4.0MPa (positive) or 0.1 MPa (negative).

4. Good thermal resistance, operable between -30°C~+120°C; free from hardening or softening due to climate or temperature changes.

5. Good bending performance and flexibility, free from restriction by operation space. It works well with small turning radius and remains round at the bending position, and is totally free from folding, detachment of inner wall and breakage of hose body.

6. 40% lighter than similar rubbers hoses and 30% lighter than metal hoses of equivalent specifications. It is easy to operate and can significantly reduce operator’s work intensity and significantly improves working efficiency.

7. Good resistance to corrosion by sea water. When used in coastal area or offshore environment, normal metal hoses can hardly survive corrosion by sea water and air. Our company makes improvements accordingly and develops a new type of hose with excellent resistance to corrosion by sea water which provides 10 times better anti-corrosion performance than that of normal hose (it is found through tests at least 3-year service life in marine operation can be realized) at competitive prices much lower than hoses made from stainless steel.

 

II. Use

1. Oil delivery hoses are widely used in oil drilling industries for delivery of diesel, gasoline, aviation kerosene, lubricating oil, crude oil, natural gas and other oil products.

2. Chemical delivery hoses are widely used in chemical industry for delivery of benzene, alcohol, ethylene, acid and alkali liquids or emulsion.

3. Food delivery hoses are widely used in food industry for delivery of cooking oil, liquor, essence and potable water, etc.

4. Air delivery hoses are widely used (1) in shipping industry for loading and unloading operations of gas and liquid media as well as lightering and sewage discharging.

(2) Loading and unloading of gas and liquid media in warehouse, dock and filling operation, and flexible connection at exchange stations.

(3) Delivery of ink, colorants and liquid media in paint industry.

(4) Flexible connection between components in offshore drilling operation, and loading and unloading of liquid media.

5. Delivery hoses for tank trucks are used in tank transportation and loading and unloading operations of various gas and liquid media.
