HP wire-braid reinforced rubber hose

Our hoses are made from special synthetic rubber with high rubber content, ensuring their excellent performance in oil resistance, thermal resistance, warping strength as well as anti-fatigue and anti-aging performance. EMPIRE rubber hoses have pressure uniformly distributed to all layers and provide stable quality.

 

I. Structure

High-pressure wire-braid reinforced rubber hose is composed of an inner rubber layer, a middle rubber layer, 1/2 wire-braid reinforcement layers and the outer rubber layer. The inner layer is directly subject to erosion by media conveyed, to prevent leakage. The outermost rubber layer is a weather-proof layer, protecting the wire layer from external wear. The mesh wire-braid layer is the pressure bearing layer, giving the hose sufficient strength and rigidity. The working pressure of hoses depends on the materials and structure of the reinforcement layers.

Note: According to HP hose design principles, the third wire-braid layer does not function when hose is pressurized, and it is a waste of materials, adds weights of hose and reduces the hose bendability. Therefore, such hoses are not provided in related standard in various countries. However, some senior engineers still follow outdated standards and use these types of hoses in design.


II. Features
1. The hoses have compact structure, good elasticity and small deformation under pressure.

2. The hoses provide strong pressure capacity and excellent pulse performance.

3. Rubber hoses with wire-braid reinforcement are available in large length, typically are sized to 20m in length for hoses of φ32 or larger and over 100m for hoses of φ25 or smaller.

 

III. Use
High-pressure wire reinforced hydraulic hoses are mainly used on mine hydraulic supports and oilfield exploitation, and are applicable to conveyance of petroleum-based liquids (such as mineral oil, soluble oil, hydraulic oil, fuel and lubricating oil) and water-based liquids (such as emulsified liquid, oil-water emulsion and water) and gases that have relatively high pressure and temperature, in the mechanical and automated hydraulic systems of various industry sectors, including building construction, lifting and transportation, metallurgy and forging, mining machinery, shipbuilding, plastic injection machinery, agricultural machinery and various machine tools.

Note: Our wire-braid hoses are designed and manufactured in reference to GB/T3683-1992 standard and may also be customized to meet requirements of ISO/DIS1436-1985, DIN20022, SAE100RIAT and SAE100R2AT standards. The current standard does not apply to castor oil-based and grease-based liquids.

 

IV. Working temperature:
-40°C~+100°C, for oil; -30°C~+50°C for air; below +80°C for water emulsion, and special-purpose hoses available for conditions beyond such temperature ranges.

 

V. Performance Indicators

 

Specifications of high-pressure hose with 1 wire-braid reinforcement layer are in compliance with the Chinese national standard: GB/T3683-92.
